Kocheta Jain Mahasangh is a community app developed and operated with technical support by Crisant Technologies (OPC) Private Limited. For privacy requests contact anand@crisant.com.

Information you provide

Registration requires your verified Indian mobile number, full name, city, state and consent. You may optionally add a photo, date of birth, education, occupation, address, travel information, contact details, business details and family members. Only add information about family members with their permission, or with appropriate parental authority for children. The app is intended for adult account holders. Membership of this Jain community may reveal community or religious affiliation.

How information is used

We use your details to authenticate you, maintain your profile and family records, provide community services, respond to support requests and protect the service against abuse. Contact form submissions are retained to respond to your enquiry. We do not sell your personal information and the app has no advertising or analytics SDK enabled.

Directory visibility

Member discovery is optional and disabled by default. If you enable directory listing in Profile, signed-in members can search your name, city and state. Your mobile number, detailed address, family records and private profile photograph are not included in directory results. You can turn listing off at any time.

Permissions and service providers

Camera and the system photo picker are used only when you choose a profile photograph. Optional location permission supports address assistance; location is not tracked in the background. Notifications use Google Firebase Cloud Messaging, which processes installation identifiers and device push tokens for delivery. WhatsApp OTP delivery is provided through Meta/WhatsApp and receives your mobile number and authentication message. These providers may process data outside your country under their own privacy policies. Hosting infrastructure processes data needed to run the service.

Security and retention

Connections use HTTPS. Passwordless session tokens are protected with native secure storage and server-side hashing. Authentication records have expiry limits. Optional profile information remains until you change it or delete your account. Technical security logs may be retained for up to 30 days. We restrict service access but cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your choices and account deletion

You can edit your profile and family members, change directory consent, disable notifications, or delete your account in Settings. Deletion removes your live profile, family records, photos, contact submissions, notification records and sessions. Residual encrypted infrastructure backups, if retained, expire within 30 days and are not used to restore deleted accounts to active service. For assistance without the app, follow account deletion instructions. We may retain information where legally required.

Child safety
